BiOS 2017 blitz

Researchers and students from the University of Auckland Biophotonics Group traveled to SPIE Photonics West BiOS 2017 to present their latest work.

BIOS is the largest biophotonics, biomedical optics, and imaging conference in the world and is held annually in San Francisco, USA.

A total of three oral papers and three posters were presented covering most current research areas including optical coherence tomography, elastography and bacterial detection. All students won travel grants from the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies which enabled them to attend.
