Welcome to Tillmann, our first new PhD student for 2024

We welcome Tillmann Spellauge, who recently moved to Auckland from Munich. Tillmann will be doing a PhD with Frederique Vanholsbeecks, Jami Shepherd and Craig Radford from marine biology. He will be researching the structure and function of crustacean hearing organs using optical coherence tomography. Tillmann has a passion for history and cooking, and particularly enjoys going for long hikes.
