Simran is a physics and maths graduate student starting her MSc in bioengineering this year under the supervision of Hayley Reynolds, Marco Bonesi, Tharanga Don, Poul Nielson, and Anthony Phillips. Her project is the Advanced Imaging and Modelling to Understand Lymphoedema Development after Cancer Treatment. She will be applying image processing to segment and characterise lymphatic vessels from images required through a custom OCT system, which will then be used to simulate lymph fluid flow.

Simran has been enjoying sketching still life and painting in her free time, she primarily consumes tea and will actively encourage you to do the same daily.
