Samuel awarded the Amplify Scholarship

Congratulations to Ayomikun (Samuel) Esan for receiving the inaugural Amplify Scholarship award for Black Scholars aimed at supporting the growth of a global network of Black scientists in optics and photonics. Amongst a pool of candidates from over 20 countries, Samuel was among the 15 students chosen for this award. The scholarship award received support from Thorlabs, Meta, Federico Capasso, Harvard University. Corning Incorporated, IPG Photonics Corporation and other contributors.
