Magdalena Urbanska awarded the RHT Bates Scholarship

Congratulations to Magdalena Urbanska for receiving the RHT Bates Postgraduate Scholarship for her research on an all-optical method to examine the vitreous humour as the key to stopping eye diseases. The RHT Bate scholarship was established in honour of Professor Richard Bates FRSNZ and awarded yearly to one doctoral student in New Zealand. In 2019, the award went to Fang Ou, in 2020 to Abi Thampi. Magdalena is now the third biophotonics group student to win this prestigious award. We are proud of your achievement.
