Frederique and Cushla become senior members of OSA and SPIE

Congratulations to Frederique Vanholsbeeck and Cushla McGoverin on their latest status as senior members of the Optical Society (OSA) and SPIE. Their current status as senior members recognises their remarkable achievements and enormous contributions to developing the optics and photonics field. The senior membership role is the highest distinction for which OSA members can apply, and it reflects professional maturity and experience. "SPIE Senior Members are Members honored for their scientific excellence across the broad spectrum of optics and photonics research and applications, their active involvement with the optics community and SPIE, and significant performance that distinguishes them from their peers," said the 2021 Senior Member Subcommittee Chair and US Army Research Laboratory Essential Research Program Manager Dimitra Stratis-Cullum. "This promotion honors their contributions not only across the international ecosystem, but also across the full spectrum of optics and photonics professionals in academia, industry, and government."
