Cushla and Fred Research Collaboration

Cushla McGoverin and Fred Vanholsbeeck are key researchers and personnel in the programme led by Peter Thorne “A novel medical device for delivering therapies to the ear”. The programme is co-lead by Haruna Suzuky-Kerr. Peter and Haruna have been long term collaborators of Cushla and Fred. Cushla and Fred will combine spectroscopy techniques and optical coherence tomography to visualise the round window membrane in the inner ear. The end goal is to design better treatments for hearing loss.
