UNESCO International Day of Light

Students from the University of Auckland joined together to commemorate the first UNESCO International Day of Light with a Historic Science Fair on 13 May 2018.

The event was a tremendous success thanks to the students and postdocs from the Photon Factory, the Biophotonics Group, and Physics and Chemistry who generously volunteered their time.

More than 200 attendees from all over Auckland arriving for a day filled with lasers and tornados.
