AgResearch Meat Industry Workshop 2016

Dr Cushla McGoverin attended the AgResearch Meat Industry Workshop 2016 recently held at the Ruakura Campus Club in Hamilton. This workshop was attended by industry representatives, regulators and researchers.


A wide range of beef and lamb research was presented including quality perception for beef hot pot, the effect of cooking on meat proteins, high pressure processing and thresholds to bacterial spoilage of meat.


This mix of people and topics made for an interesting day of networking and discussion.
